In a calendar year, there are a handful of 5th Sundays. Here at The Euc we seek to find our Creator in all aspects of our journey including the movies we watch. We are NOT suggesting that we should limit ourselves to badly made Christian movies such as Left Behind, but rather find the Creator in the artistry of what has already been created in culture. So, on these rare 5th Sundays, we will be watching movies together - sometimes it will be a documentary that will create dialogue, sometimes it will be the latest blockbuster that will create laughs, tears, and suspense. The purpose of 5th Sunday Movie Nights is to hangout and be together as a community, nothing more. Unlike the rest of our Sunday Night Worship Gatherings, we will not be sharing a meal and we will start @ 7:00 p.m. rather than our normal 6:15 p.m. starting time. You are welcomed to bring snacks or dinner if you want.
Our next 5th Sunday Movie Night is going to be on August 31st and we will be watching the documentary, Paper Clips. Please come and join us as we continue to seek out to live holistic lives together as followers of God through the way of Jesus. Here is a Youtube clip from the movie.
